Article 2. Scope of Application
These Conditions apply to all sales made by Meralune to a customer (hereinafter the ‘Customer’) through the webshop of the Website.
Purchases via this website are intended only for private customers. If you are interested as a business, please contact us separately first.
Meralune will always make these Conditions available and request their acceptance. It is the Customer’s responsibility to read them carefully before accepting them in order to avoid later disputes. These Conditions will also be attached to the order confirmation in a format that can be saved or printed.
One or more provisions of these Conditions or other terms may only be deviated from if this has been expressly agreed upon in writing between Meralune and the Customer. In such a case, the remaining provisions of these Conditions or other terms remain fully applicable.
Meralune reserves the right to modify and/or supplement these Conditions or other terms at any time for future orders. It is therefore advisable to review these Conditions and any other applicable terms carefully with each new order.
These Conditions were last modified on March 4, 2026 (version 2026-1).
Where the Website redirects to another website, whether through plug-ins or otherwise, the terms, policies and guidelines of those other websites apply. Meralune cannot be held responsible for the information or activities of these third parties.
Article 3. Orders and Formation of the Agreement
Offers
Meralune’s offer is described on the Website.
Standard ordering process via the Website
The Customer can freely navigate through the various pages of the Website without committing to an order.
If the Customer wishes to place an order, they can do so by clicking on an order button. A summary of the order will then appear on the screen. The Customer must then identify themselves by providing their first name, last name, email address and address. Business address and other comments are optional. After reviewing the status of the order and once all requested information has been entered by the Customer, they must select their preferred payment method. The Customer must then click “Checkout” to definitively confirm the order. During the ordering process, the Customer can modify and correct the entered information before validating the order.
Formation of the agreement
Every order is binding. The agreement between the Customer and Meralune is concluded at the moment Meralune confirms receipt of the order (whether by means of an automatic confirmation email or otherwise). You will generally receive this confirmation within 24 hours. If this is not the case, please contact Meralune.
Any additions or other changes to the order are only valid after written confirmation by Meralune.
Special conditions or refusals
Meralune may decide to subject the validity of the agreement to special conditions or refuse it in certain situations. For example, Meralune may suspend or cancel an order that is incomplete or incorrect, or suspend or cancel an order if previous orders have not been paid or have only been partially paid.
Article 4. Sale of Products
Description
Meralune strives to present its products with the clearest possible description.
All descriptions of products or product prices may be changed at any time by Meralune without prior notice.
Only the characteristics and information confirmed during the actual ordering procedure are binding. Meralune may cancel orders at any time if the product information or price at the time of the order was clearly incorrect.
If the Customer has doubts or specific questions regarding the information provided, please contact Meralune via the communication channels listed above in Article 1.
Availability
Sales can only take place while stocks last and inventory may be adjusted at any time by Meralune. Meralune cannot be held liable for damages resulting from a product no longer being available. The Customer will of course be informed accordingly. Meralune also reserves the right to stop selling a product at any time.
Retention of ownership
The products remain the property of Meralune until full payment has been received.
Payment requirement
Meralune will not ship any products until full payment has been received.
Cancellation
Without prejudice to the withdrawal provisions below, an order cannot be cancelled by the Customer.
Article 5. Price
All stated prices are expressed in EURO and are displayed on the Website including VAT.
Shipping costs or other costs are stated separately before you finally confirm the order. In this regard we also refer to our Shipping Policy.
Special discounts are only valid for the specifically indicated products, periods and while products remain available, and may depend on specific conditions.
The price refers only to the product as described and does not include decorative items.
Meralune may adjust prices at any time, but the price applicable to the Customer’s order is the price stated at the time of the order.
Article 6. Payment
Payments via the webshop of the Website can be made through:
- Bancontact
- Mastercard
- Visa
If the card issuer refuses to authorize payment, Meralune cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellation of the order. Payment details will only be used to process the payment transactions.
Article 7. Delivery of Physical Products
All products are delivered to the delivery address provided with the order. Delivery can be made to the countries indicated in the Shipping Policy.
Orders are shipped with bpost or another courier service. The Customer can generally expect delivery within 1 week. Meralune will notify you if this is not the case. Unless otherwise stated or expressly agreed otherwise, Meralune will in any event deliver the product within thirty (30) days after the agreement has been concluded. If this is not possible, Meralune will explicitly inform the Customer and request agreement on a reasonable delivery period. If Meralune cannot deliver within this reasonable period, the Customer may cancel the order and Meralune will refund the paid amounts within fourteen (14) calendar days. No other compensation can be claimed.
Please ensure that the postal package can be delivered (and signed for if necessary) at the address provided. Delivery is considered completed once the first delivery attempt has taken place. Meralune is not liable for failed deliveries when this is due to the Customer, for example when the Customer has provided an incorrect or outdated address or when nobody is present at the address provided by the Customer. Additional costs may be charged for a new delivery.
For security reasons it is possible that the courier may request identification details from you or from the person receiving the delivery.
The risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer at the moment the goods are physically received.
Article 8. Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal
For purchases made through this webshop, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the order without penalty and without giving any reason (although Meralune always appreciates feedback).
The Customer therefore has a period of fourteen (14) days to withdraw from the agreement. This period expires fourteen (14) days after the day on which:
- the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer, who is not the carrier, physically takes possession of the products; or
- if the Customer ordered multiple products in the same order that are delivered separately, the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer takes possession of the last item; or
- if the delivery of a product consists of several shipments or parts, the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer takes possession of the final shipment or part.
Before the withdrawal period expires, the Customer must clearly and in writing inform Meralune of their decision to withdraw from the agreement.
For this purpose the Customer may use the model withdrawal form included as Annex 1 to these Conditions, or submit another clear statement to the address of Meralune or via email at info@meralune.com declaring that they wish to withdraw from the agreement.
Without delay and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the day the Customer informs Meralune of the decision to withdraw, the Customer must return the products. The Customer bears the cost of returning the goods.
Meralune will inform the Customer of the acceptance or refusal of the withdrawal and, in the case of acceptance, will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including delivery costs where applicable.
The refund will be made within fourteen (14) days after the day on which Meralune receives the withdrawal notice, provided that Meralune has also received the returned products.
The purchased product may only be returned in its original condition. The principle is that the Customer may only handle and inspect the product in the same way as would be allowed in a physical store. The Customer is liable for any reduction in value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products. If the product is no longer saleable due to contamination or damage, for example, the Customer will be charged the price of the product.
Meralune may delay reimbursement until it has received all returned products or until the Customer has provided proof that the products have been returned, whichever occurs first.
The Customer may not exercise the right of withdrawal for:
- the supply of products made according to the Customer’s specifications or clearly intended for a specific person;
- the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery.
In this regard Meralune also refers to the Return Policy.
